Hi everyone, My name is Cliff Pinwill and I'm a professional guitar teacher offering online music theory lessons for students of all ages. I offer lessons for beginner students all the way to more advanced players and learners.
Whether you're a beginner or a more advanced learner I will always make a lesson plan that suits your needs as a learner. Whether it's scales or chord theory, I'm confident I will be able to help.
I understand that music theory can be pretty heavy going but because of this I try to show my students lots of practical uses for theory. Instead of just reading a book, I will show you how to apply the theory that you learn during our lessons.

I like to deliver my guitar theory lessons ina way that is both easy to follow and easy to understand for all students. Theory can be tough but I will always make it as easy to follow as possible for all of my students.
Everything we learn together will have practical uses and as well as showing you how to use theory we can also look at examples from bands that you like to see how they use guitar theory to improve their song writing.
Lessons are pay-as-you-go, weekly, fortnightly or as suits you.
I welcome players from all backgrounds to improve their theory with me. I will always make a lesson plan that suits your learning and playing level.

I teach students of all ages and abilities across a wide range of styles, helping ensure that my students develop their guitar playing skills in my friendly lessons.
Having toured extensively with top international artists I know I can inspire you to reach your aims on guitar.
I have been playing the guitar for over 40 years now, having spent time gigging, touring and recording at the very highest level for many years. I have written and performed music for computer games, adverts, pit work, live shows and session work. I have even played on the We Will Rock You stage show in the West End.
I also offer lessons for more advanced learners.
I have also taught in further education and worked with youth organisations, providing expert guitar tuition. I have vast experience with recording packages, Grade 8 reading and writing and can prepare students for any musical examinations, including the Rock School examinations.
I am an expert in teaching any style of guitar, from beginner to advanced level, and have experience of working with a very wide age group. You are never too young or too old to learn the guitar. My lessons are charged at £18 per half hour and £30 per hour for all students.
My lessons are taken online via zoom and skype. Whichever is best for you.
I teach music theory to students of all ages.
Weeekly or fortnightly lessons are by far the best way to improve your understanding over a short period of time.
Lessons cancelled with less than 48 hours notice will still be charged full price.
