Hello! I'm Vanessa, a professional guitar teacher in Canterbury. I can't wait to help you improve all aspects of your guitar playing.
I like to make sure all of my students receive the highest quality of tuition possible. I also like to make sure the lessons are always as enjoyable as possible.
I am a mobile teacher which means that I will travel to you for your lessons. This is a great way to learn how to play the guitar in a familiar and comfortable envrionment.

I'm a music lover and I try to reflect this in my teaching. I offer tuition in a wide range of genres and styles.
I have experience in teaching students of all ages however, I would recommend starting to learn from ages 6 and above.
Lessons are pay-as-you-go, weekly, fortnightly or as suits you.
I teach teach both beginner and advanced students up to grade 8 level and higher. I will make a lesson plan based on your ability level.
Beginners welcome to take my lessons
I'm a multi-instrumentalist and touring musician from The UK. With a wealth of experience teaching both in-school (Primary and Secondary) and privately, I teach all ages and skill levels catering the direction of the lessons to the desires of the student.
I cover a wide range of different instruments, including guitar, bass, singing and drum lessons. Lessons can range from focussing on musical grades to learning particular songs, as well as looking at soloing and music theory.
My lessons are always built around my students and we will always learn in a direction that you feel comfortable learning in.
I teach a wide range of techniques and styles
I teach lessons in a wide range of different genres. I have a wide range of personal influences which I can use to make sure you learn the styles of music that you are interested in.
As well as being qualified, I also perform regularly in the local band circuit with a wide range of different bands. If you need help with performance I would be more than happy to help you & build your confidence together.

My lessons are charged at £15 per half hour or £30 per hour for all students.
I'm a mobile teacher which means that I will travel to you for your lessons.
I'm able to teach both adults and children (6+) in a wide range of genres and styles.
I recommend weekly regular lessons combined with plenty of practice at home for the best results.
Please note Guitar Lessons Canterbury operates a 24-hour cancellation policy. This means that if a lesson is cancelled within 24 hours of the arranged time the student will be charged the full price of the lesson. Should you need to cancel a lesson please contact me at your earliest opportunity to re-arrange.
