Hi, my name is Robert Pawlus and I am a professional guitar teacher offering lessons to students of all ages and abilities in Wembley and surrounding areas.
I have been teaching the guitar for over 5+ years now and I am very passionate about helping my students to achieve their guitar playing goals. I pride myself in offering the highest possible quality lessons and believe that I am a versatile teacher able to adapt to the needs of the individual student. I will always tailor our lessons plans to you specifically.
My main teaching method involves getting to know you as an individual so that in the lessons we can study and learn songs by your favorite artists that you love the most. I feel this is really important for keeping the students interest as not only do you improve your technique but also get to play songs you've always dreamed of playing at the end of it too.

From my musical background as a session musician I have studied, learnt and played a wide range of material over the years spanning across all different difficulty levels and different genres. No matter whether you have never played a guitar before, or if you have played for years and are just looking to move on to that next step my lessons cater for all students at any point of their musical journey.
I try to keep my teaching style as relaxed as possible ensuring that the lessons are pressure free, informative and fun. We will always be covering material that is specific to you, your current playing level and from there we will be focusing on pushing you passed this to the next step. I have vast experience working with both beginners and advanced guitar players too so this applies to students of all levels.
Lessons are pay-as-you-go, weekly, fortnightly or as suits you.
Having 5+ years of teaching/performing and producing experience means I am a flexible teacher who is happy to work with students of all skill sets and abilities. Whether you're picking up a guitar for the very first time, or you've been playing for years and just want to get out of a rut, don't hesitate to get in touch.
Basic Songs, Introduction to Guitars, Simple Melodies
Not only do I teach the guitar but I am also a professional session musician and producer who is active within the industry currently. Having such a wide range of musical knowledge both on my instrument and in general has allowed to become a very flexible teacher able to work with anyone. I also currently hold a BA Hons Degree from the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance London (ICMP).
I happily welcome students of all ages and abilities who are looking to grow as a musician, whether that's by improving playing technique or just getting to understand the music theory better to help them compose/write music with more informed choices. I will work with you each step of the way to try and make this journey as exciting as I possibly can.
I believe that I have a friendly and supportive teaching approach and will always be there to support you at any step of this process. Even if you don't have a guitar yet and wanted a second opinion on which one to buy, let me know! I am always available in between the lessons to help you with any follow up questions you may have from our previous lesson or to offer any advice on buying gear etc.
Complex Theory, Complex Songs, Harder Playing Techniques
Most students tend to take a one hour lesson with me each week and I find that this is usually the best approach for ensuring steady and consistent progress. I would tend to recommend half an hour lessons for younger students just to help keep their attention span. I understand that adult learners will learn differently than younger students and as such I will always adapt my lesson styles so suit.
Having had all these years performing, writing and producing music I am passionate about sharing and passing these skills I have developed on to my students. I like to offer varied lessons that cover a huge range of musical topics to not only help you improve as a technical player but also as an all round musician too.
I feel that it is never really too early or too late to start learning the guitar. It's not something you need to have a natural born talent for but instead you just need a good practice ethic. Together we will give you the material and all the tools you will need to help you become the guitar player that you have always dreamed of.

Here they stock a huge range of guitars and many other instruments and are very competitively priced. They also hold a fantastic selection of amps and effects pedals as well as any other small bits you may need such as picks and strings.
Guitar Guitar Camden, is a UK guitar chain with stores all around the country. They have a fantastic selection of instruments in stock at the store as well as offering next day delivery on mail-order items and the store is located 16 Delancey Street, Camden, London, NW1 7NH.
Wunjo Guitars, is located on the Ground Floor, 5 Denmark Street, London, WC2H 8LU and is a great guitar store located in London that you could try for all of your guitar needs. Very friendly and helpful staff here too.

Lessons are £15 for half an hour or £30 for an hours tuition.
I teach the majority of my lessons from my home at Vicars Bridge Cl, Wembley, HA0 1XT - full address would be provided upon booking your first lesson. If you are unable to travel to my teaching space for lessons, I am happy to travel to you for lessons. Please let me know in advance if this is something you request so we can factor in the timings. Please note, there is an additional charge for me travelling to you.
I teach students of all ages 7+.
No you can attend lessons as and when you like. I would recommend one hour a week for the most consistent progress.
Any lessons cancelled within 48 hours can still be charged for. I am happy to reschedule cancelled lessons where possible.
