Hi everyone, My name is Lia and I'm a professional guitar teacher based in Warwick offering high quality guitar lessons for students of all ages in a wide range of styles. I like to build my guitar lessons around my students and the styles that they enjoy. I will make sure that my teaching style is adapted to your playing level and understanding of music. My lessons are always both enjoyable and easy to understand for all.
I will make sure that my lessons are always tailored to the individuals needs. By this I mean that I will build our guitar lessons around your skill level and music tastes. I think that this is the best way to learn to play the guitar. Generally its far more rewarding when we can imitate the songs and styles that we love to listen to in our spare time. I think that the guitar is a difficult instrument to learn so if we can make practice enjoyable for all then it's far easier to reach your playing goals.
The lessons which I provide cater to students of all ages. My approach to the lessons will vary depending on the age of the student. Younger students are absolutely welcome but I tend to recommend shorter lesson times to maintain attention span! I will always make sure the lessons go at a pace and speed that you feel comfortable with and that suits both your age and playing standard.

I'm easy to talk to and always happy to answer any questions that you might have about lessons and will make sure to take you through understanding step by step until you feel comfortable with everything.
I love to teach students a wide range of styles and genres. I will make sure that we go through what you feel comfortable learning and if you want I can also help you open new doors to new genres as well. As a teacher I will provide all the relevant lesson material that you need to learn the guitar properly. I cover a wide range of theory, techniques and even song work as well.
Lessons are pay-as-you-go, weekly, fortnightly or as suits you.
I welcome both beginner and advanced students, I will always make sure we learn at a pace that suits both your playing level and learning style.

I am a dedicated and professional guitar teacher and performer with 10 years of experience, including performing all over the UK.
My main instruments are guitar and bass that I have taught to diploma level, but I also teach the electric guitar and ukulele. My flexible and friendly approach ensures that I obtain consistently high results.
I like to make sure you learn the styles and genres that you enjoy and I will always build the lessons around the direction that you want to learn in.

My love of teaching began when I was a child, and since then, I have never looked back.
During my time as a player I have had the opportunity to gain some amazing experience performing live in various different settings. I'm also lucky enough to have completed a BA (Hons) in Music and Performing Arts.
I like to make sure my teaching style is relaxed but without forgetting attention to detail and making sure you're developing good technique as a learner and player. I think lessons should be both informative and enjoyable for all students and I always want to maintain high quality lessons for all of my students.

My lessons are charged at £15 per half hour for all students.
I take most of my lessons from my home teaching space in the local area and can also offer mobile lessons.
I teach both adults and children how to play the guitar.
Weekly lessons are the best way to improve as a player. I also have students who take fortnightly lessons.
Lessons cancelled with less than 48 hours notice will still be charged full price.
