How does the membership work?

Can I change my membership plan later?
Yes, you can upgrade your membership plan at any time. Simply visit your account settings and make the desired changes. At upgrade you will receive a discount based on your previous plan and the time remaining until renewal.
Are there any per lesson commisson fees / additional costs to consider?
No, you won’t be charged a commission for individual lessons. Instead, we have a straightforward annual membership fee that covers your usage of the platform throughout the year.
How do I create and customize my profile?
After signing up, you’ll have access to a user-friendly profile editor. You can add your bio, teaching style, qualifications, and more. For Music Schools/Institutions, you can also highlight your programs, faculty, and unique offerings.
Can I list multiple instruments & genres I teach?
Absolutely! You can showcase your expertise in multiple instruments or genres within your profile. This helps potential students find you based on their specific interests.
Can I list multiple locations?
Each profile is linked to a single teaching location. You will require multiple profiles and memberships if you require multiple teaching locations.
Can I update my teaching location?
Absolutely, once signed-up simply navigate to “Generate Students” > “Update My Profile” to change your teaching location. Please keep in mind that this is shared publicly on the website, so share as much as you feel comfortable with.
Once you have updated your teaching location then use the teacher database search to ensure your updated location is displaying as expected. If you have any questions or problems simply reach out to support.
Is my profile visible to the public?
Yes, your profile is visible to anyone visiting the website. Students and parents can search for teachers or music schools based on their preferences.
What happens if I become fully booked up?
If you’re fully booked with students, you can easily update this on your profile. Just switch to ‘Hide Profile’ mode until you’re ready to accept more students. While hidden, a ‘Fully Booked Up’ badge will display on your profile and your profile be removed from student searches. To reverse this simply update to ‘Show Profile’ when ready.
It’s important to note that membership fees continue during this time. Remember, your profile remains accessible through its direct link, even when hidden from general searches.
How can I connect with students who are interested in my lessons?
Interested students can contact you directly through the platform. You’ll receive inquiries and booking request notifications via email, allowing you to login and respond to students accordingly.
I want to cancel my membership?
Membership can be cancelled within 14 days of purchase, with a full refund. After this period no refund is offered and membership will elapse at the end of the membership period.
