My Experience as a Teacher

I have been playing since the age of 14, progressing through the grades (AB) and continuing to enjoy playing throughout my career in IT, incorporating some private teaching.

In 2009 I made the decision to teach full-time and in 2016 started Poco Music Studio LLP and has since established a large and flourishing practice. I have continued to study and have gained both teaching and performing qualifications, but I'm ever eager to learn more. I am the first Singaporean to hold a FLCM in Classical Guitar Performance.

I am an Exam Centre Representative for London College of Music Examinations (LCME) in Singapore and my center, Poco Music Studio LLP, is an accredited examination center for the London College of Music Examinations.

I have a wife, Helen, and 3 children and, in my spare time, enjoys maintaining my aquariums and aviary hobbies.
