My name is Ross and I'm a professional guitar teacher offering high quality guitar lessons in Wandsworth.
I am a highly motivated music teacher specialising in electric guitar, acoustic guitar and composition in a wide range of styles.
I like to make sure that every single one of my lessons are of the highest quality to make sure you learn guitar in a relaxing and enjoyable way. Our lessons together will be built around your needs as a player as well as learning the music you love.

I am a music lover and I will always try to reflect this in my teaching. I can teach you any style of music that you enjoy. Together we will learn in a direction that works well for you.
I do offer the unique service of mobile lessons which means I travel to the homes of my students, making learning the guitar relaxing and stress free. I also offer the chance to learn online if you are interested.
Lessons are pay-as-you-go, weekly, fortnightly or as suits you.
I offer lessons for both beginner and advanced students in a wide range of styles including Jazz, Rock, Pop, Folk, Metal, Funk, Fusion, Progressive Rock, Ambient, Alternative & Indie.

I am a professional guitarist, teacher, performer and composer with over 15 years playing experience. I enjoy teaching all abilities from advanced players with specialised goals to absolute beginners. I plan my lessons to suit the student depending on what exactly it is that they want to achieve.
The learning process will help students find new goals and ideas for what they want to learn next within the music. Whether it’s learning your favourite songs as a hobby, or preparation for graded exams and a serious career path, lessons should always be fun.
Outside of teaching I play and compose in various bands and this is something I would love to share with my students.
I offer lessons for both beginner and advanced students
I have most recently worked in local schools. Here I taught lessons in guitar, bass and whole class ukulele in multiple schools throughout the week. This work required me to really refine my lessons, planning and build the mental stamina to deliver valuable and appropriate lessons throughout the day.
I have taught both children and adults in a wide range of genres and styles.
I have studied musical performance with Jazz. During this time I played in many different groups and projects; writing and performing a wide range of genres in addition to jazz, including rock, metal, pop, blues, folk and funk. The experience has enabled me to appreciate and understand how to play and teach a whole variety of music.
I have a vast amount of experience in performing live
There are only a few options in Wandsworth when it comes to music shops and guitar shops, however, here are a couple that I have found very useful over the years.
Northcote Music, is a long-standing shop that offers a wide variety of instruments & a good selection of sheet music and accessories. The staff at this place are always very friendly and will help you with anything you need. You can find them on 155C Northcote Rd, Battersea, London SW11 6QB.
Guitar Classics, on 38 Webb's Rd SW, London SW11 6SF. This is a great small shop that specialises in a wide range of guitars so whether you are a beginner or have something particular in mind they should be able to help you out.
Drumshack, Is the best place to go if you happen to be a drummer. They have a wide range of new and used kits for all kinds of players. You can find them on 58 Lavender Hill, Battersea, London SW11 5RQ.

My lessons are charged at £15 per half hour and £30 per hour for all students.
I take the majority of my lessons from my home teaching space but I also offer both online lessons and mobile lessons.
Music should be for everyone & because of this I offer lessons are all ages.
For the best results, weekly lessons are recommended but you can learn whenever you like & if you prefer less frequent lessons, this can be arranged.
Please note Guitar Lessons Wandsworth operates a 12-hour cancellation policy. A 50% lesson fee is charged for cancellations less than 12 hours before the scheduled time.
