Hi! My name is Cristóbal, and I'm a Flamenco/classical guitarist from Argentina. I specialize in Flamenco Guitar and Classical Guitar, but I have studied other genres as well. I focus in teaching different types of Rasgueos, Flamenco Guitar techniques and other specific Spanish musical Genres. My Mission

Expereinced Player & Teacher

I have over 15 years of teaching experience and 5 years of online teaching experience, and I've taught students of all ages and nationalities. Furthermore, I have top of the line audio and video gear to teach remotely from my studio. Guitar can be easy if you have the desire to learn! Being a good listener, my love for the guitar, and lots of patience are the main assets I rely on for teaching.

I love teaching what I love most: guitar! I have a lot of patience (a must for any teacher!). I also believe that listening carefully to my student's likes and needs is key. It might sound obvious, but actually, it's not! Since I have a classical background, I also coach and teach and prepare, beginners and advanced students for exams in various musical institutions. I also teach music from my country (Tango/Folklore) and Flamenco Guitar as well.

I have been teaching guitar for over 15 years and online for over 5 years now. I currently have actively-playing students all across the globe. From teens to adults, everyone is welcome to this Studio! I host online group meetings and recitals besides the one on one lessons.

The lessons are tailored to the different students' needs, which really vary a lot from person to person.Guitar can be easy if you have the desire to learn! Being a good listener, my love for the guitar, and lots of patience are the main assets I rely on for teaching.

£30 per hour

Lessons are pay-as-you-go, weekly, fortnightly or as suits you.

My Experience as a Teacher

Cristóbal is an eclectic guitarist with a classical background. Based in Buenos Aires, he has toured Latin America and Europe playing modern Argentine music and pieces of other living composers like Leo Brouwer, Carlo Domeniconi, Johannes Möller, Mathias Duplessy and many others. He has performed in prestigious theaters in Buenos Aires like Usina del Arte, La Scala de San Telmo, el Museo Casa de Carlos Gardel y el Museo Histórico Nacional, amongst many others.

He also took masterclasses with prominent figures in the guitar world like Leo Brouwer, Fabio Zanón, Quique Sinesi, Simone Ianarelli and Kozo tate.

He's been teaching guitar for the last 15 years working in different institutions, as well as in the Conservatorio Superior de Música de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires "Astor Piazzolla", where he works since 2014. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Classical Guitar from the Universidad de las Artes de Buenos Aires, and he's currently finishing his teaching certification in the "Conservatorio Superior de Música Manuel de Falla", also in Buenos Aires..

Experienced feedback is what makes student save a lot of time in their learning (using apps or YouTube videos help a lot, but that's just not enough). Live weekly lessons are ideal, but in the tuition I also include asynchronous teaching (via videos, emails, etc.), and teaching materials as well. As long as you have patience and commit to practice as often as you can, you can expect a rapid and continuous progress.

The learning process is meant to be enjoyable, attempting to create music from the start, without neglecting any of the technique workout necessary.
