For as long as I can remember, everything in my life has been based around music. I have a wide range of experience in everything from playing to performing and taking music based exams. My aim is always to pass this experience onto you. When I go back and remember how I learnt guitar, I know I did it all wrong. All I wanted to do was play something that sounded like the record. First of all, at the age of 5, I attended classical guitar lessons. I remember playing songs like Bobby Shaftoe (I completely understand if you say "What? I've never heard of him" cause nor had I.), which sounded nothing like Jimi Hendrix or the Eagles, that my uncle was playing. I want to make sure my students learn the music they love and in the correct way. My goal is to give my students the right guidance at the right time, so as to keep the students enjoying playing, positively motivated and constantly improving. I have achieved this by tailoring the students' developments by targeting relevant pieces of music they want to play.

I have been teaching guitar professionally since 2004. Primarily an electric guitar teacher, but can teach electric bass guitar, classical guitar and ukulele. I am a professional bassist and cellist based in London, with a wide range of experience as both a teacher and a performer. I primarily teach double bass, bass guitar, and cello at all levels and am happy teaching jazz, rock, and folk as well as taking a traditional classical approach. Initially studying as a classical cellist, I went on to study Popular Music Performance at the ICMP where I achieved a First Class Degree as a bass guitarist. After a year out to tour around Europe with folk singer Christof Van Der Ven, I began two years of study at The Guildhall School of Music and Drama on the postgraduate jazz course. I am a member of Indie band Mosa Wild, with whom I have toured the UK and Europe, opening for acts such as Tame Impala and Maggie Rogers. I also produce for and tour with soul singer Georgia Van Etten as well as a host of other artists. Alongside original music, I regularly play corporate gigs at prestigious London venues such as Ronnie Scott’s, The Ivy and Annabel’s, and perform regularly in the West End as both a bassist and cellist. Having taught bass privately and in several schools for the past 7 years, I am happy to guide students through ABRSM and Trinity exams when asked. I personally have really felt the benefits of learning to read music from a young age and am keen to pass on this skill. Hello! I am a professional guitar teacher based in Northamptonshire, offering mobile and online lessons so students can learn the guitar from the comfort of their own home. I cover a wide range of musical styles, alongside rhythm and lead techniques. Learners are welcome to take lessons on electric or acoustic guitar depending on their musical preferences. I tailor my guitar lessons around my student’s interests, ensuring rapid progress in a short amount of time through material that is fun and engaging for the pupil. I am a specialist in teaching complete beginner students of ages 8+ to 80 (and beyond) the electric and acoustic guitar. I understand what it takes to learn and what can make learning easy, I have taught many beginner students during my time as a guitar teacher - as well as those individuals who are revisiting playing the guitar after several years away - helping them learn through the music that they are passionate about. I have had experience with working with more advanced guitarists on how to develop their music theory knowledge, play more interesting lead solos or simply get them inspired and out of a rut they may be stuck in. Since first picking up the guitar aged 8. I fell in love with the instrument and have undertaken many years of musical training. This included working through the Rockschool grade syllabus, GCSE Music, a Level 3 BTEC National Extended Diploma in Music performance and a First Class BA Honours Degree in Popular Music. I have taught and performed professionally since the age of 18. In that time I have toured with artists accross the UK and Europe, featured on songs and albums as a studio guitarist and taught hundreds of students to play the guitar. I have been fortunate to have studied guitar and record production under some of the most inspiring figures in the music buisiness such as Joel Hoesktra (Whitesnake, Cher, Rock Of Ages) Elliott Randall (Steely Dan, Doobie Brothers, John Lennon) and Tony Platt (ACDC, Bob Marely, Paul McCartney). I am often delighted to pass on the knowledge and techniques I have learned from these mentors to my own students on their musical journeys.
