I am a professional drummer who since graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Music from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama has toured the world performing live concerts and shows in some of the most famous Concert halls and festivals. I've most recently finished an extensive tour with the ground breaking Broadway production show Burn the Floor, working closely with featured dancers from the UK hit show Strictly Come Dancing. I’ve taught drums and percussion extensively for the last 15 years throughout schools and privately in London and South Wales, covering grade exams with 100% pass rate and mentoring school concerts. I aspire to leave every student feeling more confident and enthusiastic about this wonderful instrument.

Legato Music was founded in 2003 by Jeannette Chin as a small music business with just a handful of teachers at Taman Fortuna, Penampang. Driven by her passion and unwavering dedication, Jeannette nurtured students, trained teachers, and guided staff to excel, laying a strong foundation for what Legato Music has become today. In 2013, the center relocated to The Peak Suites to accommodate its growth and vision for expansion. Over the years, it has flourished into a vibrant music hub, supported by a dedicated team of around 20 members offering hundreds of weekly classes. Jeannette’s remarkable contributions to Legato Music remain at the heart of its success, and her vision continues to inspire its mission. In July 2022, the leadership baton was passed to a team of five accomplished and passionate individuals—Raymond Goh (Principal), Joanne Vun, Jude Limus, Kienz Wong, and Samuel Siaw. Having been among Jeannette’s most trusted team members and teachers, they bring a wealth of experience and a shared commitment to upholding her legacy. Together, they are dedicated to furthering Legato Music’s mission, fostering creativity, and nurturing future generations of musicians. At the beginning of 2025, Legato Music reached an exciting milestone with its expansion to Likas Square. Raymond Goh is a seasoned drum teacher, performer, and Principal of Legato Music in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia. As a passionate educator and musician, Raymond leads one of Sabah’s most vibrant music schools, helping students of all ages build confidence, technique, and creativity through structured lessons, live performance opportunities, and supportive mentorship. Hello and welcome! My name is Stella Kouloukousa, and I am a professional drummer and music educator. I began taking drum lessons at the age of 14, and in 2011 I started my professional career as a session drummer, performing at various venues and festivals in Athens. Between 2011 and 2014, I earned several music diplomas from the London College of Music and Multimedia, including Grades 4, 6, 7, and 8 in Drums, as well as Grades 5 and 6 in Music Theory. In 2014, I enrolled in the Music Department of the University of Nicosia (Cyprus), where I graduated with honors (cum laude) in 2018. In 2023, I completed my Master’s degree in Music Technology and Contemporary Practices at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. I am an active performer and have had the opportunity to collaborate with many well-known and respected musicians. My experience spans a wide range of musical styles, including rock, pop, jazz, Latin, ethnic jazz, and traditional Greek music. I look forward to sharing my knowledge and passion for music with you!

Hello, I’m Tim – a qualified teacher, professional drummer, and experienced online music tutor based in Cornwall, UK. I specialise in small-group online drum kit tuition for children aged 8+, with a strong focus on structure, consistency, and clear progress. I do not offer individual lessons or adult tuition; my teaching model is built entirely around carefully designed group learning for young drummers who thrive with direction and shared goals. Music has been a central part of my life for decades. I hold a BA (Hons) in Music & Sound alongside a PGCE with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), which means I bring both professional musicianship and formal classroom training to every lesson. This combination allows me to deliver drum lessons that are engaging, well-paced, and rooted in proven educational practice – not improvised or ad-hoc teaching. Over the years, I’ve taught hundreds of children through schools, peripatetic services, and online platforms. All online lessons are delivered using high-quality, multi-camera teaching setups so students can clearly see stick technique, footwork, coordination, and posture. Alex Bargh is a professional drummer with over 15 years of experience teaching, performing and recording. He has worked with students from all walks of life, of all ages and skill levels, where his students have continued to progress and pursue careers in music. His passion shines through when teaching and performing on the drums, and he believes that everyone has the passion and understanding to learn how to play rhythmically, develop a sense of timing, to understand playing within a context of genres and is holistically committed to providing his students with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed.
