I have been a professional musician for over 15 years, having worked both nationally and internationally with artists across a range of contemporary genres. I have recorded in some of the UK’s best studios, such as Metropolis Studios, Rockfield studios and Universal Studios, plus I have performed in some of the best venues in London including the 02 academy Shepherds Bush and Camden Roundhouse to name a couple. I currently hold a Bachelors degree from the BIMM Institute in London as well as a Masters degree in Music and Sonic Media, where I excelled in composition for multi-media and sound design. Outside of performance, I compose for a variety of different multimedia streams such as podcasts, TV, film and documentaries. As a guitar teacher, I have been active for over 10 years, working with students from all over the world to help them achieve their guitar playing goals, be it learning songs, theory, soloing or exams. With 10 years of teaching experience at schools like the Conservatoire and Marie De Bry Arts Academy, along with 15 years as a session musician and songwriter, I've recorded in iconic studios like Abbey Road and Park Studios. I’ve worked with students of all ages and skill levels, tailoring each lesson to meet their individual needs while focusing on enthusiasm, communication, and patience. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Music from BIMM London in 2017, studying under top musicians like John Wheatcroft, Jim Clark, and Les Davidson. Prior to that, I spent 10 years studying guitar in Athens, Greece, at the Musical Praxis Conservatory and the National Conservatory of Athens. I perform in various styles, including jazz and original compositions, and my musical influences include Nile Rodgers, Ritchie Blackmore, and Eric Johnson, among others. Watching live performances of these greats inspired me to pursue music, and I hope to inspire my students in the same way.

My name is Andy. I am a guitarist with fifteen years experience of gigging and performance, and a passion for helping people find their way into music with accessible, and enjoyable beginner lessons. What artist first made you first want to pick up the guitar? Which song do you day dream about playing? Some students find the pressure, and structure of exams and grades helpful and motivating - and some don't! All students learn differently, and my lessons will reflect those unique needs. What drives my lessons is an understanding of where the students find their joy in music - what got them interested? What are their passions? Rooting their learning in their own enjoyment of art creates the best musicians, and the best artists. As a musician myself I have performed in live bands for fifteen years. I am currently on tour as lead guitarist for Gemma Rogers band. In 2023 alone we played five shows at Glastonbury, supported Paulo Nutini at the Brighton Festival Series, played Secret Garden Party, and Minifest in Barcelona, as well as sold out London Headline shows at The Courtyard, and the Lexington. Alongside this, I play bass guitar for The Steady Letters - a indie punk group, and CaptainCaptain, a London based function band playing venues around Clapham and Wandsworth, as well as acoustic guitar for The Double Covers, a function duo playing acoustic blues and soul. This professional experience takes my lessons beyond the musical instruction, and allows me to offer an insight into the life of a touring musician. Whether for school, exams, or just for the simple, cathartic joy of it; I offer a professional, fun, and educational service, with music at it’s heart.

Hi! My name is Ben. I have been playing for over 20 years and have taught for about 15. I have loads of experience playing live in some of the top venues in the UK including Brixton Academy, Shepherds Bush Empire, Birmingham NEC, Manchester Academy, The Kentish Town Forum, Glasgow SEC, Edinburgh SECC. I also have played at Download Festival and Reading Festival. My style of teaching is laid back, starting with a few songs and then if they want, moving on to grades or harder ideas. I teach from beginner up to Grade 8 and beyond. I studied at the Academy of Contemporary Music (ACM) so I’m comfortable with a wide range of styles. It’s worth noting, if you are interested in Jazz or Classical guitar I probably am not your best bet. I also can help a lot with songwriting, I’m an active songwriter so I really enjoy the creative process as well. if you are interested in group tuition, let me know. I will look at renting a space. My name is Nick Morgan and I am a professional Bassist based in Brixton, and working on London’s famous Denmark Street. Having started with the viola aged 8, I have since picked up a wealth of experience and knowledge – as well as other instruments – which I am keen to share. At age 13 I added the guitar and bass to my repertoire and joined a variety of different ensembles, including Orchestras, Concert Bands, Jazz Combos of various sizes, String Quartets and Popular Groups from Metal to Indie. I attended weekly rehearsals for each group, as well as taking any school-provided Music opportunities and quickly found Music was all I wanted to do, despite never planning it as a career option. However, thanks to these groups and courses, by the age of 18 I had played dozens of concerts throughout Europe and gained an understanding of what it takes to be a professional performer in almost any scenario or venue; further honed by my time at Goldsmiths, University of London, where I earned a BMus Music degree with Second-Class Honours. Thus, since then I have thrown myself into the world of Music. While at Goldsmiths I continued playing in the University Orchestra, as well as my own projects away from the world of classical music (available to view below) with a particular love of production and engineering appearing. I spent time working in such studios as the fantastic GMS at Goldsmiths, Snap Studios and recently Metropolis Studios, and eventually recording with artists such as Brandy Row, Robert Chaney and Oli Swan’s Dangerous Creatures. Today my primary group, Big Peyote, have our own studio as well as my own home facilities, and recording has become another skill that I am keen to share. In the modern music industry, it has become a necessity to be highly adaptable and possess a wide range of skills from recording and performing to effective self-promotion and networking. As an example of this myself – currently teaching, working as a session musician, writing and recording with a number of projects, and also working selling instruments on Denmark Street – I am able to not just teach you an instrument, but how to get yourself into this crazy industry! Not only will I give you the technical and musical knowledge required to become a great musician, I will also show you how to build healthy and productive practice and performance habits so that you can enjoy improving and playing consistently on your instrument of choice. I understand that there can be many mental and physical barriers to learning music, and over my many years of experience as a teacher, I have always found a way around them for my students. I have a very deep understanding of technique and theory, having spent half my life practicing guitar. Emanuele Addis, born in 1996 in Sassari, Italy. He has begun his classical guitar training at the age of fourteen at Liceo Musicale in Sassari under the guidance of professor Calogero Sportato. He is currently attending the Conservatorio Antonio Vivaldi (Alessandria, Italy) in Frédéric Zigante’s class and he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree with first-class honors. Addis will attend a Master of Arts at the Royal Academy of Music and Michael Lewin will be his new teacher. Addis stood out in numerous national and international competitions. To name but a few, he won the 1st prize at the Ventennale Ossola Guitar Festival in Valstrona; 1st prize at Moncalieri European Music Competition, 1st prize at the Ansaldi National Competition of 2018; he qualified for the ARD Musikwettbewerb in Munich, 3rd prize at the Brussels International Guitar Competition and the 2nd prize at Guitart International Guitar Competition 2019 in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. Additionally, Addis participated in several solo recitals in Italy, Germany, Belgium and Serbia. In fact, he performed at the La Cupola Theatre in San Teodoro, in Nuoro for the Young Musicians concert season, at the Festival Internazionale in Bosa Antica, as well as the solo recital at the Sala Rosa Hotel Villa Las Tronas in Alghero, at the Monferrato Classic Festival, followed by the performances at the Palazzina Liberty in Milan, at the Senato della Repubblica Italiana in Rome, Italian Institute of Culture in Munich, Germany, Theâtre du Vaudeville in Brussels and the Treća beogradska gimnazija in Belgrade. He will play as soloist the famous Concierto de Aranjuez with the Alessandria’s conservatory orchestra in June 2021.

I have been a passionate musician for 15 years, specialising in guitar. I have been composing music and performing professionally for 7 years, have experience teaching one to one guitar lessons and have led music workshops in primary and secondary schools. I am currently in Year 2 studying at Trinity Laban Conservatoire. I teach beginners and intermediate students, guiding and challenging them towards their musical goals. Lessons are designed in a bespoke way to incorporate theory and practice, taking student preferences into account to ensure lessons are relevant, fun and exciting.
