Hayley is a professional performer and singing teacher with over 16 years of vocal training & experience behind her, and 5 years teaching in a variety of settings. She enjoys a varied performing career, singing all over the world as part of Bella Popera, and taking part in concerts, musicals, cabarets and contemporary operas. Recent highlights include Celebrity Cruises, performances at The Ivy West End and Grosvenor House Hotel, ‘Cinderella’ the Pantomime tour, My Fair Lady (Bristol Hippodrome), and she has even performed for Deborah Meaden from BBC’s Dragon’s Den! Hayley has a passion for teaching, helping students find their confidence and enjoy the process of learning to sing. She has taught both within schools and privately, with people from ages 5-65! Hayley has a wealth of technical knowledge and experience in a variety of styles which she brings to her teaching. Her approach to lessons is fun, relaxed and positive, helping you to feel real improvement through combining the freedom of exploring your vocal tone with strong core technical knowledge. She loves working with people from all walks of life but has a particular specialism in confidence building through singing with children and adult beginners. Other areas of specialism include actors/dancers looking to improve their singing, and working with young children from ages 4-6 as an introduction to singing. If you are looking to start from scratch or brush up on old skills, she will help you to achieve your potential. Hayley has successfully put many students through ABRSM and Trinity singing exams, and helped people to gain places at drama schools such as East 15 and Central School of Speech and Drama. I love working with students of all ages and abilities, as it makes teaching really fun and exciting. I work closely with students to make a curriculum that works towards their personal goals, rather than forcing a set curriculum. I’m passionate about making lessons a place students can come to have fun and be creative. Making lessons a safe space allows my students to push themselves to do things they thought they couldn’t. I love seeing my students grow as people and musicians over the years. It’s important to me to build close relationships to my students, so that lessons feel like a place of enjoyment instead of a chore. I’m a professional musician who specialises in guitar, music theory, singing, piano and songwriting. I play in an alternative / indie rock band but have experience playing both classical and jazz guitar. I am passionate about teaching and I have experience of tutoring people of different ages with varying abilities, both in person and over zoom in preparation for formal music exams and also on a more casual basis. I always ask my pupils to make me a playlist of their favourite songs and then from that I create lesson plans based around their interests in music. For example, if the pupil wants to learn how to improvise, I would teach the pupil scales found in their chosen songs and we would examine how they are used in contexts they are familiar with. I pride myself in being a flexible and adaptive teacher in which I adapt lessons to the specific needs of the pupil and find ways to keep it fun and engaging! Music Qualifications & Achievements: I have a First Class Honours Degree in Music from Goldsmiths College, University of London. I am a touring musician and have recently been on UK tours supporting Wet Leg, The Big Moon, Dream Wife and Billy Nomates.

Jonny Black is a highly experienced singing teacher and voice coach as well as a professional actor, singer and musician. He was the lead singer and songwriter for the indie/rock band ‘Dupe’ before going on to train in musical theatre at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London. He has appeared in a number of touring and West End productions including Blood Brothers, The Buddy Holly Story and Rock Legends, as well as performing around the world as a concert singer with The Wellington Symphonia, Cape Town Philharmonic and The Hawaii Symphony Orchestra. Jonny continues to write and release his own music as a solo artist and in collaboration with others. He was recently awarded a distinction for his MA in Voice Studies: Teaching and Coaching from Royal Central and has been a professional singing and voice coach for over 10 years, having delivered over 7,000 hours of one to one and group teaching. Jonny specialises in teaching contemporary music genres including pop, rock, jazz and blues as well as being able to teach musical theatre. His teaching is always creative, fun and engaging, designed to bring out the singers true potential. Hello, my name is Catherine and I am a professional Opera Singer and singing teacher based in London and Florida. My musical journey began at the age of 7 when I joined the Oxford Youth Choirs. I started learning with soprano Rebecca Mosely-Morgan and after a few years I took up a scholarship to study singing at the Royal Academy of Music in London. After continuing my studies with a Postgraduate Diploma from the Royal College of Music, I was taken on by English National Opera as a Harewood Artist, performing lead roles on the stage of the London Coliseum from 2011-2018. I have been lucky enough to have sung under the batons of Sir Edward Gardner, Sir Mark Elder, Mark Wigglesworth, Michael Hoffstetter, Gianluca Marciano among others. I have performed in the Royal Opera House, Royal Albert Hall and venues across the UK and Europe. Hi, my name is Robert! I am a conductor, singer, composer and teacher based in London. I started learning piano when I was about 3 years old and studied at Junior Guildhall until the age of 8. I then sang as a chorister in the choir of New College, Oxford, where I also began to play the cello. During my teens, I continued to sing and compose, and also played in many ensembles including the Thames Vale Youth Orchestra. At the University of Manchester, I began to study conducting, eventually directing the University chamber choir, Ad Solem, as well as working with other choral ensembles, and the University’s baroque and symphony orchestras. During this time I also sang in the Genesis Sixteen choral program, which offered intensive training for elite young choral singers led by The Sixteen. I have been teaching singing, piano, cello and conducting privately ever since graduating, as well as directing several choirs and ensembles. I have also completed a conducting scholarship with the Leeds Festival Chorus, and a fellowship program with the National Youth Choirs of Great Britain, for whom I am regularly employed as a singer, conductor and coach. I can offer singing and conducting tuition at all standards, and piano and cello up to about grade 5.
