Ting is a qualified performing musician and an experienced music educator.

He specialised in classical guitar and have studied contemporary music at university. He holds a Bachelor of Music. He is a member of the Victorian Guitar Orchestra and performs regularly at different venues.Ting has taught music at a variety of private and government schools. He is highly experienced in all sorts of exam preparation and writes the Y7-9 guitar curriculum and exam for public high schools. He has prepared students for: AMEB Classical Guitar, AMEB CPM Guitar, ANZCA Modern Guitar, Rockschool Acoustic Guitar, Rockschool Electric Guitar, VCE Music Performance in Classical Guitar, VCE Music Performance in Contemporary Popular Guitar and etc…
