About Sam Johnson

With over 25 years teaching and performing experience, I have learned to adapt to just about every musical and educational situation. I don’t just use one technique for every student or band, I have many teaching methods and creative ideas that I’ve learned over the years of teaching and performing so I can give YOU the best experience for you!

I am a patient teacher and I care about your learning and growth. Music is my life and nothing gives me greater joy than to help others learn to play and play well.

Listening to music is a powerful way to change our mood, express our emotions, and just enjoy our life. But PLAYING music is a whole other level! Playing music for a living brings me joy every day. Whether you play professionally or just for yourself, I hope it will always be a skill that brings you deep satisfaction.

Cancelation & Rescheduling Policy

I do not offer refunds.  I ask that you make schedule changes or ask for cancellations at least 1 week in advance.  Of course, if you are sick stay home, and let me know you are sick.  I will do my best to set up makeup lessons when times are available.
