Nick has been playing and performing on the saxophone for over thirty years, and has been a full-time professional musician for the last two decades, specialising in Pop, Swing, Blues, Soul, Jazz and Funk.

Nick currently performs with and arranges music for function bands, big bands, and as a solo artist for weddings. festivals, parties and corporate functions throughout the south of England.

Past touring theatre credits include performing with Debra Stephenson’s “Night of 100 Voices” show, plus tributes to:

• the Blues Brothers,
• Elvis Presley,
• Sounds of the Big Band Era,
• George Michael,
• Amy Winehouse,
• The Commitments,
• Billy Joel,
• Motown Records and
• the Dictionary of Soul.

Nick has also been teaching both privately and in schools since 2007, working with both individuals and ensembles.

Nick tailors his tuition to the student’s preferred direction – he believes that exams are only one way to measure your progress as a musician, and that performance is the real joy, whether for yourself at home, or on stage in front of thousands.
