Millie Ramsden

Hi, I’m a musician/ music teacher based in Royston, Barnsley, South Yorkshire.
I have been providing music lessons since 2022 to students who wish to learn piano, flute, clarinet or saxophone and currently teach over 50 students on a regular basis. I also work in a local secondary school as their piano tutor.

I also work as a performing musician. I have most recently played on the Batman in Concert 1989 UK tour as well as performing in musical theatre pits across the country on a regular basis and also work as a musical director for local theatre productions.

I’ve accompanied a U3A choir, play in large scale concerts and also organise my own concerts for my students to partake in should they wish.

I teach flute, clarinet, saxophone and piano and aim to make my lessons enjoyable and informative. I teach a range of ages currently, from 6 years old to over 60 years old and so have learnt to adapt lesson strategies for the wide range of ages I teach.

I have a BMus degree in Music from the University of Huddersfield, graduating in 2021 and work as a full-time self employed musician.
