About Mike Vaughan
I’m a professional musician and music teacher. I’ve been playing and teaching for almost 30 years and have played in many successful acts who have been played on national radio (BBC 1 & 2) and TV. I hold a Master’s from WaterBear Music School in Brighton (accredited by Falmouth University).
I teach both privately and in schools and have had thousands of students over the time I’ve been teaching. Some of these students learn just for fun, some to take grades and some to become professional musicians, and I have had a real range of ages and abilities and my goal is to tailor each lesson and students experience to them; I grow, adapt and move with my students, not the other way around.
As well as teaching I still regularly gig in several bands and also regularly perform Stand Up Comedy.
