Lewis Campbell

Hi, I’m Lewis — a full-time music producer, DJ and artist, better known in the dance music scene as Campbell.

I’ve been producing music for many years and have released music through major labels, had a Top 40 hit and built a career as an independent artist. Along the way, I’ve trained at the BRIT School and Point Blank, and developed experience across music production, songwriting, mixing, DJing, live performance and the wider music industry.

I’m now looking to work with a small number of passionate students who want to either get started with music production or take their existing skills to the next level.

Lessons can be tailored around what you want to learn, but areas we can work on include:

• Ableton Live
• Sampling, sequencing and programming
• Sound design and synthesis
• Vocal production
• Songwriting and arrangement
• Mixing and getting your tracks sounding professional
• DJing and live performance
• Ableton Push 3
• Developing your own sound and workflow
• Releasing music and navigating the music industry

Rather than following a fixed syllabus, I want lessons to be practical and centred around making your own music. Whether you’re completely new to production, have been making music for a while but feel stuck, or want to develop your skills and start taking your music more seriously, we can build the lessons around where you’re at and what you want to achieve.

I’m based in Telegraph Hill and offer in-person lessons locally as well as online sessions.
