Ben Landymore

I’ve spent the past seven years working with students of all levels as a music production lecturer at Stamford College (UAL curriculum) and as a teacher at Saffron Walden Centre for Young Musicians. I really enjoy helping students build confidence with technology, develop their creative voice, and understand both the technical and artistic sides of music production.

Whether it’s composing, recording, or producing, I aim to make learning music technology both inspiring and practical, giving students the tools they need to bring their ideas to life.

Alongside teaching, I am a composer, sound designer and recording/mix engineer with a real passion for creating immersive music and helping others develop their own sound. My work spans film, television, and commercial projects, where I blend classical orchestral writing with modern production and sound design techniques shaped by my background in electronic music.

I’ve been fortunate to contribute to a range of exciting projects, including collaborations connected to Hans Zimmer and Aleksey Igudesman, as well as recording and producing music for a UNESCO World Heritage documentary. My work has also been featured on Austrian national television in documentaries such as Breaking Rachmaninoff and Universum Österreichs Erbe für die Welt, alongside sound design for brands like Google Pixel, Panasonic/Lumix, and Thomastik-Infeld.
