About Ronan Gray
Hey! My name is Ronan, and I am a trumpet player from Phoenix, Arizona. I am currently a Junior at Utah State University as a Music Bachelor of Arts (Jazz Emphasis)
I started playing trumpet in 5th grade, and thanks to a great teacher and a love for music, I quickly progressed.
I had the honor to play in some amazing groups throughout high school. I’ve played in regional orchestras and symphonies, and made All State Jazz my Junior and Senior year. That audition had around 100 players trying out for 10 spots. Pretty tough!
Currently I am a member of the USU Jazz Orchestra, where I have been featured as a soloist frequently the past 3 years. Our band has been invited to perform in Europe next summer which I’m very excited for!
I spend most of my free time jamming with other musicians in my area, writing and producing songs, and listening to music.
Music is the center of my life and I’m really looking forward to sharing it with others!
