At Music Lessons Arizona, our goal as music teachers is to help our students achieve their musical aspirations. Owners and instructors, Sherin Moustafa and Matt Friedland have over 25 years of combined teaching experience and are both accredited musicians holding advanced degrees in music performance from the Arizona State University School of Music and have been guiding students of all levels on their musical journey.

Sherin is a versatile pianist specializing in classical genre and music theatre. She has a master’s degree in Collaborative Piano Performance and a bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy from Arizona State University and is currently the Immediate Past President of the East Valley Music Teachers Association.

Matt specializes in jazz, improvisation, rock, funk, blues, and pop music for guitar, bass, and drum set. He graduated from the Arizona State University School of Music in Jazz Guitar Performance. Both of them are not only skilled musicians but also experienced in working with adults and kids, ensuring they receive high-quality, age-appropriate instruction.
