About Mark Checkley
I have been teaching for over 25 years both in schools and privately. I perform regularly with bands and in a duo as well as the occasional theater show. I can teach sight reading, theory, finger style, lead guitar, rhythm guitar , classical and Uke all to advanced levels. I cover most of the exam boards and have recently encouraged students to record their exam entries. All ages and abilities are welcome.
Qualifications:
Grade 8 classical guitar LCM, Grade 5 theory ABRSM, Ukulele grade 3 LCM, Elements of music open University degree course
