About

Hi, I’m Marilee — a Los Angeles–based Vocal Coach and Artist Development Mentor with 17 years of professional experience.

I work exclusively on Zoom with intermediate to advanced singers (ages 15+). I also have a school for talented singers who want to be successful artists in the music industry, which includes a songwriting course for those who wish to write industry-standard songs. Check me out at marileetangen.com or instagram.com/marileetangenmusic. I’ve been coaching for a long time! Love to help you become the best singer you can be.

My specialty is pop technique, backed by multiple vocal methods that ensure you become a knowledgeable singer who understands the body as an instrument and how to use it.

You will learn: How to sing without vocal strain • Breath support and control • Proper placement and tone development • Everything under the sun, when it comes to your voice.

Lessons are weekly. Sometimes I have a waiting list…..Free 20-minute consult to see if we are a fit! Look forward to meeting you!
