Marcos Fuentes

I specialize in brass instruments and bass guitar, bringing a diverse range of experience in teaching strings and woodwinds. My previous roles as Band Director and Orchestra Director allowed me to develop comprehensive music programs and guide students through competitive performances, earning accolades along the way. I am dedicated to inspiring the next generation of musicians while continually refining my own skills.

As a proud member of the Houston Concert Band, I play euphonium and trombone and serve as the low brass section leader and board member. My educational background includes a Bachelor of Music from Stephen F. Austin State University, complemented by a Music EC-12 Teaching Certification. This foundation enables me to foster excellence in both artistry and education.

I am passionate about creating engaging learning environments that resonate with students from all backgrounds. My commitment to nurturing talent and instilling a love for music is at the core of my teaching philosophy.
