About Jane Eastham-Buckley

Hi, I’m Jane — aka JaneGuitarQueen, a nickname proudly gifted by one of my students (cheers, Glen!). I’ve been teaching guitar and bass since the early 2000s, helping students of all ages hit their musical goals.

I specialise in electric guitar and bass, but also teach acoustic and classical guitar. Whether you want to rock power chords, groove through basslines, strum your favourites, or work through Rockschool exams, I’ll guide you at your pace, with your goals front and centre.

My lessons are known for being structured, patient, engaging and fun. I tailor everything to your learning style, helping you build confidence, creativity and resilience — and if you need a gentle nudge now and then, I’m happy to give it!

I teach in person from age 6+ and online from age 10+, with no upper age limit. I believe anyone can learn to play — and enjoy doing it.

If you’re after a supportive, down-to-earth teacher who gets results and makes learning enjoyable, I’d love to hear from you.
My philosophy is that anyone can learn to play an instrument. I teach at your pace, with lessons tailored to your individual needs. Some people learn fast, others learn slowly. If you are enjoying your lessons and progressing, I am happy, but I can also give you a kick up the backside if you need one! It all depends on your goals. So if you are interested in learning with me, then get in touch.
