Rockschool is a great syllabus to help engage and inspire people into learning how to play an instrument. Learning how to read music and playing classical music at the very beginnings of your training can sometimes be difficult and also irrelevant to our interests. Rockschool enables musicians to learn songs that are current and also relevant to their lives. Music can be a lot more interesting and easier to learn when it has a relationship to our current lives. Other styles of Music such as classical can then be explored once the passion has been established and some of the grounding has been learnt.
