About	Heather welcomes students of all ages and abilities from complete beginner to advanced levels. Private lessons take place at Heather’s studio in Worthing, West Sussex and she also teaches at Bromley High School, Newstead Wood School and Bromley Youth Music Trust, Kent. Lessons are also offered online via Skype and Zoom. Music theory will be integrated into the lessons and students will have the opportunity to take graded exams if they wish to do so or just play for fun! Heather has lever and pedal harps for use during the lessons. Each lesson will be tailored to the individual pupil’s needs, level and style. As well as teaching Heather also freelances as a soloist, orchestral and chamber musician which has led her to perform at prestigious concert venues including The Royal Festival Hall, Cardiff Millennium Centre, Royal Opera House, Cadogan Hall, St John’s, Smith Square, Kings College Chapel, Cambridge, Glyndebourne Opera House, Kensington Palace and St James’ Palace. Heather has featured on a number of recordings including composer Paul Patterson’s CD ‘Harp Gallery’ which showcases his works for harp, a recording for Rick Wakeman and a number of video game soundtracks including the award-winning ‘Total War’ series. Music Qualifications & Achievements: Heather began learning the harp at the age of six and flute age 9. As a junior student at Trinity College of Music, London she studied harp with Gabriella Dall’Olio, Frances Kelly and flute with David Oliver achieving grade 8 in both instruments. Heather then achieved a place to study her Bachelor and Masters degrees at The Royal Academy of Music, London with harpist Karen Vaughan graduating with an MA with Distinction, BMus (Hons) and a Licentiate of the Royal Academy of Music (LRAM) teaching qualification.
