Hi, I’m Helen!

I’m the founder of Happy Violin, and I’m passionate about helping people of all ages discover the joy of making music.

With many years of experience as a qualified secondary school music teacher and instrumental tutor, I offer friendly, encouraging lessons in violin, piano, keyboard, voice, ukulele, music theory, and GCSE Music support. Whether you’re taking your very first lesson, preparing for an exam, or building confidence before a performance, I tailor every lesson to suit your goals and learning style.

I believe music should be enjoyable, inspiring, and accessible to everyone. My aim is to create a relaxed, supportive environment where students feel confident to learn, make mistakes, and celebrate their progress.
