Firdaus Salim Nakamura

I’ve been playing music since I was 3; starting with organ and stopped when I was 12. At the age of 14, I taught myself to play the acoustic and electric guitar. I also play bass, drums, and ukulele and enjoy singing. I played in a ska band when I was 14 and it eventually led me to play in a punk rock band and a metal band. Later on, I formed my own bands. I have two bands; one of it is a street punk band in which I have played gigs locally and toured overseas till today. Currently, my street punk band is doing our 4th album while my heavy metal band is doing our EP. I am also working on my solo instrumental albumat present. I’m heavily influenced by 80s punk and metal music. In addition, I play blues, classical and occasionally some jazz. My motto in music is ‘Creativity starts with an open mind’.
