Ellie Owen

I am a dedicated musician who’s been in the industry for over 10 years now. I have been gigging since I was 10 years old and taking part in other aspects of music such as producing music and doing live sound engineering at the rescue rooms in nottingham. I have also done work with notable people such as Gary Powell of the Libertines plus many more. I have many key insights into how the industry works and what makes a good musician so i can be sure to pass on my knowledge and skills to help upcoming young musicians get to a high standard.

As a musician myself I have also done grades in my instruments. I have my grade 8 vocals (Rockschool) and grade 6 guitar (Rockschool). Along side instrument specific qualifications I have a level 3 diploma in music performance in which I achieved a triple distinction star (D*D*D*) and a 9 in my music GCSE.

All in all, this means I teach to a high standard with lessons tailored to each individual student. I focus on what you want to achieve whether that is grades or a specific goal I am here to guide you towards those goals. I can also give you a hefty amount of advice going into the industry (if you’re choosing music as a career path) along side performance techniques, production, songwriting and any help with school/college work.

My goal is to help the next generation of musicians to have the skill, confidence and technique to enter the creative world while also having a lot of fun during lessons.
