About Dominic Barker
I am an experienced and passionate music teacher with over eight years of professional experience as a guitarist, bassist, and educator. I teach guitar, ukulele, and music theory to students of all ages and abilities.
With a strong background in musical theatre, live performance, and West End work, I bring real-world musicianship into my teaching. I specialise in creating engaging, supportive lessons that build strong technical foundations, confidence, and creativity through sight-reading, improvisation, and practical music-making.
Lesson prices
Any Lesson missed by the Student shall be paid for unless otherwise agreed with the Teacher.
Should the student need to miss a lesson due to illness please inform the Teacher 24 hours prior to
the lesson commencing. With appropriate notice these lessons may be re-arranged where possible.
Lessons during school holidays (for any of my students below 18) aren’t mandatory. However,
unless told or previously agreed the Teacher will assume there is a lesson every week. So please do
let the Teacher know with as much notice as possible any weeks where the student won’t be
available.
