Hello,
My name is David Sandford. I am a professional musician and educator with over 30 years experience performing and teaching music. I have worked for private schools and QLD Ed teaching classroom and instrumental music to children and young adults.
I am a multi instrumentalist. I play woodwinds, clarinet and saxophones as well as piano. I am happy to fulfill the theory component of your musical journey as well. Theory is much overlooked these days but it is a valuable tool to help understand what is actually going on when you play and compose music.
My qualifications include:
Bachelor of Contemporary Music
Graduate Diploma Secondary Education
Full membership of Queensland College of Teachers
Full membership APRA
Blue Card Exemption due to teacher registration
