| My Musical Inspirations | Music at Central Music Institute (CMI) has been shaped by a wide and thoughtful range of influences, reflecting both classical tradition and contemporary expression. Our faculty and leadership draw inspiration from timeless composers such as Johann Sebastian Bach, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Ludwig van Beethoven, and Frédéric Chopin, whose works laid the foundations of musical discipline, structure, and expressive depth. Alongside classical influences, modern and contemporary artists have played an equally important role in shaping our musical outlook. Bands and artists such as The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Metallica, Led Zeppelin, Michael Jackson, Queen, and John Mayer have influenced our understanding of songwriting, performance, tone, and stagecraft, demonstrating how technical mastery and emotional connection can coexist across genres. This blend of classical rigor and contemporary creativity forms the core of CMI’s philosophy. It allows students to appreciate tradition while engaging with modern musical language, encouraging them to develop their own voice with awareness, versatility, and respect for the art. These influences continue to guide how music is taught, performed, and experienced at Central Music Institute. |
