Cancelation & Rescheduling Policy

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy – Central Music Institute (CMI)

Central Music Institute (CMI) operates on a rigorously structured academic calendar, with faculty schedules and studio allocations planned well in advance to uphold the highest standards of instruction and institutional discipline. Accordingly, the following policy is strictly enforced:

 Advance Notice Requirement: Any request for cancellation or rescheduling must be submitted no less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled class.

 Late Cancellations: Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled session shall be deemed forfeited. Such sessions are neither refundable nor eligible for rescheduling under any circumstances.

 Non-Attendance (No-Show): Absence without prior written intimation will result in automatic lapse of the class.

 Rescheduling Governance: All approved rescheduled or backup classes must be availed within the same academic billing cycle and remain strictly subject to faculty and studio availability. No extensions or carry-forwards shall be entertained.

 Medical or Exceptional Circumstances: Any consideration under extraordinary circumstances is granted solely at the discretion of the Management, upon prior notification and submission of valid, verifiable documentation. Approval is neither automatic nor guaranteed.

 Institution-Initiated Cancellations: In the exceptional event of a class being cancelled by CMI, an alternative session shall be arranged at a mutually convenient time, without prejudice to the student.

 Non-Transferability & Validity: Classes are non-transferable, non-convertible, and valid only for the duration of the active enrolment period.

Central Music Institute reserves the absolute right to interpret, enforce, and amend this policy as deemed necessary to preserve academic integrity, operational efficiency, and the refined learning environment that defines the CMI Global standard.
