About

About

Teaching is my passion. I am a keen player and I spend a lot of time developing my own playing, for example I am working on my Classical grades whilst working as a full time tutor! I passed my acoustic and electric up to grade 8 shortly after leaving college in 2002 but classical fell behind slightly.

I put on shows for my students to hone their craft and have something to look back on and be proud of.

Since the Coronavirus outbreak, I have spent a lot more time on developing online resources using Soundslice.com to create interactive tabs for students https://www.soundslice.com/users/Benporterguitar/

I also quickly developed and honed my online teaching via Zoom (this is my preferred platform but can also use Skype, Whatsapp video and FaceTime.

Please get in touch via [email protected] to arrange lessons, either face to face or online!!!
