Welcome to
Hi, my name is Pamela. I am a classical singer and teacher with extensive experience in both performing operatic styles and nurturing the skills of others. I love watching my students become aware of their own potential by helping them develop using logical, enjoyable teaching methods!
From the very first lesson, we will set out upon a clear and efficient path towards attaining technical proficiency and exceptional musicality. My years of experience both of being a student, and teaching those of all ages has helped me become adept at identifying and troubleshooting issues that can present avoidable difficulties down the line.
By tackling practice sessions with effective routines and a focussed mindset, I strongly believe that singers of all levels will find great value in my guidance!

My lessons are hosted on Zoom, allowing students from across the world receive informed feedback and strategic training from an industry professional. I am well versed in online lessons, so an exceptional quality of personalised tuition from the comfort of your own home is guaranteed to all who wish to begin.
Without a doubt, one of the most fulfilling aspects of living life through the lense of classical music has been watching my students grow as musicians and performers in their own right. I am constantly impressed by those I teach who strive to raise the bar and push their skill levels forward from lesson to lesson.
Lessons are pay-as-you-go, weekly, fortnightly or as suits you.
I teach students of all ages from 8 upwards. No matter what your musical background or educational level, I will provide enthusiastic and meticulous support to all. My tuition can be accessed from anywhere in the world via Zoom lessons that will propel your skills to the next level.
I have taught singing for over 30 years in my local area of Aberdare, South Wales. Now that I am teaching online, I can take on students from anywhere in the UK. All lessons take place virtually using Zoom or FaceTime, and are suitable for students from age 8 years and up.
I studied at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, Cardiff, and the Royal College of Music, London. I was Principal Soprano with the D’Oyly Carte Opera Company, appearing in recordings, broadcasts, television, and film productions. I have also travelled internationally, performing in concerts around the world. My London performances include concerts at The Royal Albert Hall, Barbican Centre, The Royal Festival Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall, The Adelphi Theatre, Connaught Rooms, and Savoy Theatre.
During lessons, students also have the opportunity to understand more about the world of music as a whole. Music theory can sound daunting to some, but I have taken many through the understanding of musical frameworks and concepts that put each element into clear context.
My instructional methods are developed from a career as a professional singer and musical studies. I teach breathing, technique, performance skills, interpretation, and exercises that are specifically designed for the effective development of the voice.
The sessions are given on a one-to-one basis, and are tailored to the student’s individual needs. I offer lessons in Classical, Musical Theatre, Gilbert and Sullivan, and Modern/Popular music. I teach all levels, and welcome students from beginner to advanced/Diploma level. Whatever your goal, I can help you or your child learn how to sing in a fun and structured way, with online singing lessons that really move and motivate students, helping you to gain skills and build confidence as a performer.
My training as a Classical singer using the Italian Bel Canto Style enables me to pass on the knowledge I have acquired to my students. I have spent many years as a professional singer, performing Oratorio, Lieder recitals, Opera, and Concerts. I am also a recording artist, so not only am I able to teach students the technical side, but also the performing aspect. Musical Theatre Lessons: To have a strong technique means that a singer is able to withstand the strain of singing a role for 8 performances a week – on top of touring! I have done this and know how to prepare students for a career in Musical Theatre using a trusted and tried vocal technique. It is so important to sing correctly to avoid strain and damage to the delicate vocal cords. Popular Music Lessons Even when singing pop songs, you can learn to sing them really well and in a professional way. Learn how to interpret the songs and how to perform them, while having a strong basic technique.
Zoom has become a vital tool for learners from all over the world to engage in tuition provided by experts and specialists without needing to plan around the logistical difficulties of travelling.
For those who may feel hesitant to try online learning, it is worth mentioning that the same detailed and thorough level of tuition that one would expect from an in person lesson, is well and truly present in my Zoom appointments. All you require is a stable internet connection (5Mbps or higher) and a compatible device, such as a laptop or tablet.
You will need to install the software in order to receive the calls, but once completed you will then be able to access lessons in just a couple of clicks.
If you would like technical support in setting up Zoom on your device, then I am happy to assist before we begin the first lesson!
Learn to sing operatic styles with effective, focussed lessons taught by an experienced industry professional with years of teaching success. I like to keep lessons productive, relaxed and positive so that students can grow in a highly enjoyable learning environment.
[email protected]My lessons are priced at £20 per half an hour.
Lessons take place on Zoom - an easy to use video calling software that offers convenience to even the most far reaching students.
I teach all ages, from children of 8 years old to senior adults. I should mention that it is never too late to make incredible progress in music and I have taught many excellent adult students who have achieved a great deal since starting.
You are certainly not required to attend lessons each week, however I do at least recommend that students aim for fortnightly sessions in order to keep the ball rolling and to keep information fresh from lesson to lesson.
If you must cancel a lesson with me, that is absolutely no problem. Life can always throw us unexpected surprises! I do ask however, that students abide by my 48 hour cancellation policy. This simply means that should you need to cancel or postpone an appointment, you must let me know 48 hours prior to the booking.
