“I have been having lessons with Tom for the past few years now, and he has been consistently brilliant. He was my biggest help in recovering from my tonsillectomy and strengthening my new voice. He helped me through third year of drama school and my third year shows, he's helped me prep for my different cruise contracts and tackle incredibly difficult songs, and he's helped me with my audition rep which has landed me two contracts already. And to top it off he's a great guy who's easy to talk to and whose main priority is helping his students, even going above and beyond by helping me outside of lesson time when I was recovering from my tonsillectomy. I'm still using the exercises and tips he's given me every time I warm up and practise. Can't recommend him enough!”

“Have been working with Tom for around a year now. He really knows his stuff. Material that felt completely impossible when I started he's made well within comfort. As someone who had lots of experience singing in ensembles but not much technical knowledge, he's taught me an invaluable amount, both practically but also anatomically. I started with a chest voice and a falsetto, feeling like as a baritone most of contemporary MT was off limits; I wasn't even sure a mix was a thing until I turned up to Tom. So whilst timetabling is occasionally difficult, that's exactly what makes him such a privilege to have. He knows his craft and consistently working himself means he always fresh ideas for others. “Tom is the best singing teacher I have met! I've been using his exercises for 4 years now which has helped me recover completely from vocal surgery. I have had quite a few singing teachers at my time through 2 different drama schools and no one compares to Tom. He is incredibly knowledgeable about singing technique and vocal recovery but not only that he really cares and makes you think that anything is possible when it comes to your voice. He is such a great support and I would not be where I am today without his help !”

“I learnt a lot from the lessons I had with Tom and noticed big improvements in my voice! Unfortunately he was unreliable, spoke disrespectfully about students, and cancelled lessons frequently so I chose to end early. His prices would frequently change just before we were about to start lessons and/or he would try and reduce time offered from 45 mins to 35 mins last minute. I think he would be great to work with for non-professionals who have lots of flexibility in their diaries, and anyone who wants to get into the acting industry/work in the west end/broadway would greatly benefit from his experience. Unfortunately Tom’s approach to booking the lessons and his attitude towards students just didn’t work for me.”
