I usually spend much more than 60 minutes on the first lesson because it’s important for us to get to know each other and understand your goals. Before the lesson, we discuss everything in advance to ensure the best approach for you. Our first session can be significantly longer, but I never watch the clock or increase the price if we go over time by 10-20 minutes. This is especially true for the first lessons, as I want to make sure you feel comfortable and get the most out of your experience.

About Carmen Ganina

Hello!
I am an opera singer. I studied at the PI Chaykovsky Conservatory in Moscow and the famous Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome. I attended many masterclass courses in Russia, Italy and Austria with Edda Moser, Renata Scotto,Nino Machaidze etc. I was also a soloist in the Vatican choir.
For several years, I have been working as a singing teacher in Brussels. I offer lessons in English, French, Russian and Italian. I teach students from 8 years old (beginners or more experienced).

Here’s what I can help you with:

Acting and audition preparation
-body awareness
Music Theory and Ear Training
Piano
Rooted in the classical tradition, my approach focuses on building a solid and healthy vocal technique, which I then apply to the musical genre of choice. This also improves the speaking voice on a daily basis.
I consider body awareness, character interpretation and musical expression to be essential elements of the lessons.
If needed, lessons can also include audition, competition, and stage preparation techniques, as well as beginner piano, music reading, music theory, and ear training. I love teaching and enjoy helping others achieve their personal vocal goals. Every voice and learning style is unique, and I tailor my teaching to each student. I welcome students of all ages, levels, and singing styles, and look forward to helping you sing with ease and joy!
Before our first class, I talk with my students to understand their background, their goals and answer all their questions.
For the first lesson, I always ask you to bring a song that you like to sing and, as we progress…

Knowing how to read/write music is not necessary to follow the courses.
