Originally I just wanted to be a composer, so I learnt to play many instruments in order to write for them. As a Trumpet player I played in many Orchestras, Dance Bands, Soul Bands and Musicals. My favourite instrument at the moment is the Piano. The guitar is a great instrument for carrying around with you, i.e. on holiday, parties etc. and is so versatile. It can play beautiful Classical music, strum chords for singers or play (Electric) riffs for Rock Music. I have taught in many schools (Primary and High) mainly in Liverpool and St. Helens. I currently teach at one primary school and two high schools on the Wirral (St Anselms College – Boys High School in Prenton, and BHSA – Girls High & Junior School) I set up a Music School (Learn Music Ltd) in Liverpool in 1990 and it is still going strong today. It has 8 Teaching Rooms, a waiting room and an office and provides many hundreds of students with an excellent music education. I am the Local Area Rep for Trinity College London , helping thousands of students take their music exams. I have a current CRB check for teaching. My 3 passions are Music (including teaching), Dogs and Computer Programming. Thanks for reading and I hope to meet you very soon! Paul Sheridan
