Zhen Wang

Currently, I am the Doctor of Arts at the Tchaikovsky Ukrainian National Conservatory of Music and a lecturer at the university, the main areas of my specialization are vocal music, piano, choir conducting. I am a Member of the Association of Chinese Musicians, judge of the Association of Chinese Musicians and judge of the Chinese Conservatory of Music.

My students have won numerous awards at vocal competitions in China and abroad. They have won prizes at music competitions in Italy, the 7th Shandong Teachers’ and Students’ Competition, the National Competition of Professional Musicians, and the 6th Korea-China International Youth Music Competition.

• 2003-2006 High school affiliated with the Chinese Conservatory of Music
• 2006-2010 Chinese Conservatory of Music – bachelor’s degree, Opera performance
• 2013-2016 Chinese Conservatory of Music, Master of Musical Performance
• 2019 – to this day Doctor of Arts, Tchaikovsky National Conservatory of Ukraine

Since childhood, I was fond of classical music and played a variety of musical instruments. I have experience of stage work – I played a role in the large-scale national opera “Desert” (“原野”), starred in modern Chinese operas “Cardamom Flower” (“豆蔻花开”), in the drama “Dear Family” (望族), and sang at concerts from the series Shuiniu in Beijing (“水牛儿.北京民歌音乐风俗画卷”). I have also been a solo guest on CCTV’s Xin Shiting (“新视听”) and Chinese Literature and Art programs.
