Welcome to East Midlands Drum Tuition, a place to learn, have fun and develop as a drummer. My name is Tom Wardle (Ba Hons Music and Qualified Teacher, QTS qualification) and I have been teaching for 20 years. As well as teaching drums, I am also a qualified classroom music teacher so you can be confident that your lessons will be professional and taught by an experienced and qualified teacher.
I offer high quality drum tuition for all ages and abilities. Whether you are learning for fun, wanting to complete grades or an experienced drummer wanting to develop your skills.
One to one lessons and group lessons available. Home lessons available. Weekly and fortnightly lessons welcomed. All styles covered and video lessons available if you are a long distance learner.
Lessons cover all aspects of drum playing, including:
Basic techniques, posture and warm ups
The fundamentals of good timekeeping and finding a groove

Reading music and sight-reading

Qualifications:
QTS – Registered Teacher Qualification, Fist Degree in Music – De Montfort University
