About Talya Aulia

Hello! I’m Talya, a 22-year-old soprano pursuing my Bachelor of Music Performance at the University of Western Australia, and I also hold a Diploma in Music from Singapore. I have performed extensively in solo, choral, and collaborative repertoire, mainly with the University of Western Australia Con Cantorum and Symphonic Chorus, sometimes in collaboration with the West Australian Symphony Orchestra (WASO) and West Australian Opera (WAO). My artistry has been recognised through First Place awards at the Fremantle Eisteddfod (Operatic Aria) and the North of Perth Festival (Duet).

I have studied with esteemed artists including Lisa Harper-Brown (principal teacher), Sara Macliver, Andrew Foote, and Lynne Dawson (masterclass). My work has been recognized with awards from the Fremantle Eisteddfod and the North of Perth Festival.

As an educator with five years of teaching experience, including work as an assistant teacher with Voices of Singapore, I am passionate about helping students of all ages develop healthy technique, musical expression, and confidence on stage.
