Introduction
Are you looking for a violin teacher who can bridge the gap between technical Western precision and the soulful melodies of Indian cinema and classical music?
Welcome! My name is Ansh Sharma and I provide high-quality, professional violin instruction to students globally—from the UK,Australia and USA to major Indian hubs like Mumbai and Bangalore. Whether you are a young beginner or an adult learner, I tailor my lessons to help you achieve your musical dreams.
My Musical Heritage & Education
Music is my heritage. I am a generational artist belonging to the prestigious Senia Gharana lineage. This deep connection to Indian Classical music is backed by elite academic credentials: I hold a Master of Performing Arts (MPA) from Allahabad University and the esteemed Sangeet Praveen title from Prayag Sangeet Samiti.
Parallel to my Indian roots, I am an expert in Western Classical pedagogy. I hold a Performance Grade Distinction from ABRSM (London), and I specialise in preparing students for globally recognised exams through both ABRSM and Trinity College London
Professional Experience & Recording Credits
I bring real-world industry experience to my students. Beyond teaching, I am a professional session artist who has recorded 30 songs for Himesh Reshammiya Melodies. This background in professional recording allows me to teach you the nuances of tone, expression, and performance required to play at a professional level.
Teaching Philosophy & Curriculum
Whether you are a 5-year-old beginner or an adult returning to the instrument, my lessons are tailored to your goals. My curriculum integrates:
Technical Excellence: Using world-class studies such as Wohlfahrt and Schradieck to build a strong foundation.
The Suzuki Method: A gentle, effective approach for younger learners.
Exam Preparation: Comprehensive coaching for ABRSM and Trinity digital and practical exams.
Indian Classical & Fusion: Exploring Ragas, ornamentation (Meend and Gamaka), and contemporary Indian heritage Film songs in various languages
