I have been a part-time lecturer in percussion at the University of Plymouth & Dartington College of Arts working with music, theatre and PGCE undergraduate students.
I have also taught at Exeter College and at the Academy of Music & Sound over the years so have a huge amount of drum teaching experience which I am excited to use to help you learn to play the drums.
I have a life long passion for drumming and music of all styles. It gives me great pleasure and satisfaction to pass on what knowledge I have built up over my many years of drumming and teaching to students.
I have worked with many great musicians over the years including, Elliot Randall (Steely Dan/Stevie Wonder), Pee Wee Ellis (James Brown/Van Morrison), Don Rendell and Kathy Stobbart to name a few.
Over the years I have turned out many a successful drummer and many drum teachers in all styles of music. I am happy to take on any level of drummer/percussionist from beginner and postgraduate students to professional players.
