Hello! My name is Stephanie and I’ve been enjoying playing the piano for almost 30 years. I was trained classically, starting at age 7, and gained a Merit for Grade 8 piano (ABRSM exam board) in 2004. Some of my most memorable moments are winning the Under 19 piano solo award at the Oundle Music Festival and also receiving several 1st place awards for piano duets. Playing duets with my sister was a really fun part of my piano playing journey!
I have experience teaching children from their first piano lesson and putting them through their first grade exam. I don’t necessarily have an age cut off but if it’s a young child I would need to check their hand position and control before onboarding them. I would also love to work with adults who perhaps have a New Year’s resolution to learn an instrument- it’s never too late! I do offer a trial 15 minute lesson if you’d like to find out more.
