About Shervin Ghahri Saremi
My name is Shervin, I’m 28 years old, and I’ve been playing guitar since I was 7. What started as a childhood passion quickly grew into a lifelong journey with classical, acoustic, and flamenco guitar.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of learning from some of the world’s most respected flamenco artists:
• Antonio Rey Navas — Latin Grammy Winner
• Amir John Haddad (El Amir) — internationally renowned flamenco guitarist
• José Luis Montón — where I learned flamenco cante accompaniment techniques
• And I trained at La Escuela de Flamenco de Teherán, deepening my understanding of compás, technique, and performance
I’ve performed live many times back in Iran, gaining stage experience and learning how to connect with audiences through emotion and technique.
Alongside my flamenco background, I’ve also been active in church worship teams, playing acoustic guitar and supporting worship services with rhythm, sensitivity, and teamwork. These experiences helped shape my musical versatility and my ability to play with heart.
My Education
Outside of music, I’m also academically driven. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering and an MBA from Trinity Western University in Langley. My education has strengthened my discipline, communication skills, and structured approach to teaching — all of which benefit my students.
Teaching Style & Experience
I’ve taught both kids and adults, and I’m known for being patient, friendly, and encouraging. Every student learns differently, so I use a personalized teaching method that adapts to your pace, your goals, and the style of music you love.
My lessons are 100% practical — no heavy theory. You’ll start playing real songs quickly, building confidence from the very first sessions.
If you’re looking for a teacher who brings passion, experience, education, and a warm teaching style, I’d be happy to guide you on your guitar journey.
