About Robert Carlin

Robert Carlin works primarily as a professional singer, but has also been teaching the piano for more than 30 years. He has a BA (Hons) in Music, & is a qualified Music teacher, with a PGCE; he has taught Theory, Music History, & Composition in schools and Further Ed Colleges.

Robert sings, on a contract basis, with the BBC Singers, ENO, & WNO, among others. Recently, he appeared in ‘Peter Grimes’ at the ENO, & at the Barbican for the premiere of Ryan Wigglesworth’s ’Magnificat,’ with BBC (on R3 18/01/24).

As a piano & singing teacher, he has a 100% pass rate with the ABRSM. His latest pupil received 141/150 marks for Grade 3 recently.

Cancelation & Rescheduling Policy

If I should be unable to make an arranged lesson, I will reschedule at no extra cost.

However, if a student misses a lesson, WITHOUT 24 hours’ Notice, they will be liable for the cost of that lesson.
