About

Have you ever asked yourself if you can also sing freely, while in control of your voice, making that desired tone? If you want to improve your singing in a fun relaxed environment, then you’re in the right place!

Hi! I’m Rana!

I’m a professional singer in Los Angeles. I have a masters degree in vocal performances, I am also a certified CCM teacher with specialty in singing contemporary music. Studying classical music and singing opera gave me a solid foundation in vocal techniques and my performance experience as a rock singer made me a crossover singer/teacher. I teach multiple genres: from Classical Music and Opera, to Pop, Musical Theatre, R&B and Rock.  Currently I’m gigging all around Los Angeles with my band where we play hard rock/metal music.

Here is a summary of the topics that I cover during my lessons: -Proper posture, breathing and exercises -Singing in tune, following the rhythm and tempo -Concept of chest, head voice and mix voice -Mastering your high range, falsetto, belt -Singing riffs, and runs, harmonizing and improvisation -Musical phrasing, musicality, projection -Vocal health, vocal stamina and its importance -Helping you find your unique, authentic voice -Stage presence, building confidence against stage freight – Preparing students for their recitals, auditions and competitions -Online recitals twice a year.

Whether you just started to sing for the first time, or have the experience, or even if you want to prepare a song for a special occasion, I can help you by creating a customized lesson plan in the best way that suits your goals! I have a great passion for teaching and sharing my knowledge. Let’s meet and make music together!

Cancelation & Rescheduling Policy

Please notice that all payments are non-refundable. In the event of a missed lesson, if procedure is followed a make-up lesson will be scheduled. If not (for example forgetting a lesson or failing to cancel a lesson in advance) the lesson will be considered forfeit and no make-up will be offered.

Non-emergency cancellations (vacations, parties, sickness, etc): Please let me know of any future absences at least 48-hours before your designated lesson time so that time can be made available to other students.

Makeup for these cancellations can be rescheduled around times that I have available. Due to my busy schedule, this can not be guaranteed and continuous cancelling will mess up not only my schedule but also other students’ over swapping. The makeup for individual sessions should be scheduled in the same week as our regularly scheduled lesson. Students with monthly packages can schedule the makeup within the same month.

Please notice that cancelled lessons will not be refunded even with the early given notice and are not credited to the following month’s payment so choose a time slot for makeup that you know you can attend.

Performance Opportunities, Performance Coaching & Accompaniment Services

I hold in-person and online recitals during the year in which each student will sing at least two songs memorized. Sometimes there will be themed recitals (based on students’ requests and/or holidays)

In-person recitals will take place in a studio that I reserve for the performances (in Los Angeles, California) and online recitals will be done through Zoom. In between the recitals I organize karaoke nights for my in-person students and cabaret shows for online students to have more opportunity to sing and perform in front of others!
