About Pedro Dantas
I’m Pedro, a trumpet player from Portugal with a degree and master degree in Classical Performance from the prestigious Sibelius Academy in Finland. With international experience performing with orchestras such as the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra, Baltic Sea Philharmonic, and the Pori Sinfonietta—where I currently serve as Sub-Principal Trumpet.
I have built a solid artistic path that includes appearances at major events like the BBC Proms and several competition awards.
I have worked with renowned trumpet players including Håkan Hardenberger, Gábor Tarkövi, and Mireia Farrés, and was awarded a scholarship from the Yamaha Music Foundation in 2025. As a teacher, I focus on technique, musicality, and motivation, offering lessons tailored to each student’s level and goals.
