My lessons are designed specifically for absolute beginners of all ages looking to start their drumming journey. I offer a zero-judgment, high-energy environment where we skip the boring stuff and get you playing along to your favourite tracks from day one.

What we will cover:

• The Fundamentals: Proper stick technique and posture so you can play effortlessly.

• Beats: You will learn essential Rock/Pop grooves from your first couple weeks of playing.

• Rhythm & Timing: How to read simple drum notation and keep a steady beat.

• Progress: As you develop as a drummer, you will be mastering complex time signatures and advanced grooves while building Speed, endurance, fills, and live performance dynamics.

• Your Goals: Every lesson is customised to the music you actually want to learn.

• Structured Progress: Full preparation for graded exams (Trinity) if you want to gain official qualifications, and tailored band-ready coaching.

About Me

With over 10 years of drumming experience and a Grade 8 qualification, I’ve spent a decade playing, gigging, and jamming with the drums.

I know exactly how overwhelming it can feel to sit behind a drum kit for the first time. Because of that, I pride myself on being incredibly patient, encouraging, and adaptable to your personal learning style. Whether you want to take your own grades in the future, join a band, or just pick up a fun new hobby.

Lessons start at £15/hr with a discount on your first lesson.
