Chris Livingstone

I’m Chris Livingstone, founder of Ogden Drum Studio and a drum educator with more than 25 years of teaching experience.

I work with adults and motivated teens who want more than simply learning a few songs. My lessons are built around developing lasting musical skills, confidence, and independence through a clear, structured approach to learning.

Whether you’re a complete beginner, returning to drumming after years away, or an experienced player looking to refine your technique, every lesson is tailored to your goals and designed to help you make steady, meaningful progress.

Before moving to Utah, I worked in music education in the UK, supporting hundreds of schools and training music teachers. Today I combine that educational background with one-to-one coaching to help each student become a confident, independent drummer.

Lessons take place in my fully equipped home studio in Ogden. If we’re both confident it’s the right fit, we’ll work together to build a long-term plan that helps you achieve your musical goals.
